Post 1: Nepal

 

Nepal is a beautiful and small country placed in South Asia, it is located in the Himalayas and in their lands it is located the Mount Everest, the earth's highest mountain. The predominant religion on Nepal is the Hinduism, but it´s also characterized for a ancient and strong Buddhist tradition. One of the thing that i found more interesting about Nepal is the fact that is flag is not shaped as a square or a rectangle, being the world´s only not quadrilateral national flag.                                                                         In 1996 Nepal suffered a civil war that lasted for ten years, concluding with the victory of the rebels, finishing with the world´s last hindu monarchy.

I think that if i ever go to Nepal i would like to visit the mountains of the himalaya and the Pashupátinath temple, a famous hindu temple complex

I would like to live in any country of south asia beacause i think they have a great life style and i love the peaceful that this country have. 

I´m going to finish this post with a fun fact about Nepal. Did u know that a lot of people think that the Yeti ( Abominable Snowman) lives in Nepal?..
